Pearl Zhao

Pearl is the Lead Teacher in PCA’s Toddler classroom, bringing over nine years of teaching experience. Her career began in Chengdu, China, where she taught Chinese and English at an international school. She later discovered her passion for Montessori education at the Barrie School in Maryland, where she earned her AMS credential for Infants and Toddlers.

Pearl is deeply committed to fostering curiosity, independence, and joy in learning. She considers it a privilege to guide toddlers through these formative years and to support them as they take their first steps on a lifelong journey of discovery.

Outside the classroom, Pearl loves exploring new places, getting creative with crafts, singing for fun, and most of all, spending quality time with friends and family.
