Early Childhood Assistant

I value how Montessori environments allow children to move at their own pace, follow their curiosity, and engage in hands-on discovery.

About

Jinglin Peng

Jinglin Peng is a board-certified music therapist with a master’s degree in Music Therapy and Music Psychology, and a doctorate in Music Psychology. She is passionate about working with children and exploring how music can support their growth in meaningful ways. She focuses on how music nurtures the whole child, encouraging self-expression, emotional regulation, and connection with others.

With experience providing music therapy in various settings and several years of teaching violin to young children, she has seen firsthand how music becomes a powerful tool for learning and healing. Her child-centered approach aligns closely with the Montessori philosophy, which honors each child’s individuality.

She values how Montessori environments allow children to move at their own pace, follow their curiosity, and engage in hands-on discovery. Outside of work, she finds peace in photography, reading, swimming, and spending time in nature. She’s a plant lover, spiritual explorer, and proud cat mom who believes that beauty and growth often come from the quietest, most mindful moments.
